This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior vet to join a formidable team of 14 vets in a stunning Leeds based clinic.
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced vet looking to take the next step in their career. The right candidate will be happy with both sole charge and working in a team, be a keen surgeon and enjoy working up and following through on cases. 
Joining this friendly team of 14 Vets you will benefit from plenty of clinical support as this practice encourages collaboration and a team ethos across all departments. They are an appreciative, and supportive team, looking for the right person with shared values.
The role includes a mixture of consulting, case workup and surgery. The client actively encourages the development of team members, providing training, easily accessed support and clinical guidance.  The practice is supported by two highly trained RVN’s, who offer extended nurse clinics including physiotherapy and nutrition consults. A permanent VCA on reception trained in bereavement support and several student nurses and trainees.
The practice is well equipped benefitting from digital X-ray, ultrasound, (S6 from IMV), IM3 dental machine, tonopen and Abaxis biochemistry and haematology machines. If a candidate is wanting additional equipment to develop a new service/ skill or standard,  this can be discussed! .
The leadership team consists of a Surgical Director Vet, a Practice Director, Practice Manager, two a Senior Hospital Vet, two Head Nurses, and a Head Receptionist.  
The standard rota benefits from a four-day working week, with 1:4 weekends (based at the main Hospital). Shift times for this role during the week would be 9am-7pm, with an hour for lunch.  The last half hour of the day is appointment free, designated for client call back time, to report labs or follow up on cases etc.  
The salary is up to £70,000 although a higher salary can be discussed for candidates with advanced qualifications. Holidays include 5 weeks standard holiday plus bank holiday entitlement, plus an additional buy and sell scheme. 
A vehicle can be provided as part of a package. CPD allowance of £1750 per annum (higher if Advanced Practitioner) and VDS and RCVS retention fees funded. Post graduate certificates in all disciplines are welcome and there is the opportunity to undertake funded certification for those who are interested.
