The right candidate will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS) with practical experience in veterinary medicine and diagnostics. It would be advantageous if you have previous leadership and/or sole charge experience and are familiar with working towards KPIs and leading a stable and consistent branch team. This client is committed to developing vets with an enthusiastic and passionate approach to enhancing their skills.
As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in community vet care, you will take the reigns in a well equipped and well established practice. The interior design in this client’s clinics provides a warm, comforting, home-from-home feeling.
Benefits for this role will include generously funded CPD (Certificate funding available); standard pension benefit; 40% staff discount for own pets; generous holiday (7 weeks, including bank holidays) and occupational health resources, including mental health support. If required, you will also benefit from enhanced parental leave (6 months paid at 90%) and enhanced sickness benefit (2 weeks at 100%).
The rota involves a 4-day week, 10 hour working shifts (various shift times between 7.30am-7.30pm), totalling 40 hours. 1 hour lunch break. Equal rota (1 in 6) for emergency care over weekends and bank holidays. 2 days off in lieu of any weekends worked.
The salary is competitive (up to £65,000)
