We are working with an amazing first opinion and referral hospital who have a rare opening for a Veterinary Surgeon who is looking to learn new skills achieve advanced qualifications.
This role is in the friendly First opinion team that works closely with the referral Veterinary Surgeons whoa re certificate holders in a variety of small animal disciplines.
You will have clinical independence, utilising all the amazing equipment this modern hospital has including, however not limited too: a in-house endoscopy and on-site CT (as well digital radiography, doppler ultrasonography, purpose-built dental suite, and mobile MRI service).
With the referral team on hand and ready to help, you will rarely have to refer a case externally allowing you to follow the investigations in the same premises.
The rotas are set over 4 or 5 days a week with Saturdays (time off in lieu) - If you are looking for more flexibility then they are happy to discuss a shift pattern that works for all, ensuring you get the perfect work life balance.
This is a perfect environment for learning whilst also enjoying working in a modern and refurbished, purpose built hospital alongside a experienced clinical team consisting of 13 Vets (majority are cert holders) 18 RVNs, 4 SVNs nd kennel assistants and lab techs.
Situation in picturesque Northamptonshire, offering a wide range of sporting, recreational and cultural activities for all, with great links to London and Birmingham.
The successful candidate must be MRCVS-qualified with a passion for gold standard animal care and able to perform first opinion surgical procedures.
