Vetmatch are delighted to announce that our fantastic Hampshire based client is looking for a night vet to join their established night team.
This fantastic practice is a well equipped independent veterinary practice with a happy and skilled team of 21.
The role will involve providing out-of-hours care for their clients and also inpatient care for any hospitalised patients.
At the heart of what this practice does is an ethos of promoting clinical freedom and they are incredibly fortunate to have a client base that are motivated for cases to be investigated as needed. This practice also offers inhouse orthopaedics, advanced soft tissue and cardiology services provided by visiting surgeons.
The right candidate should be experienced, have a passion for out-of-hours work, and excellent communication skills. The right candidate will be working alongside an experienced out-of-hours RVN.
Equipment in this state of the art clinic includes a full Idexx suite, Epoc, coags and a Vcheck providing numerical values for CPLI, FPLI, cortisol etc. They also have digital radiography, dental radiography and clarius ultrasonography. This team is committed to continuing to expand their equipment list as the practice develops. The night team have full access to all equipment and medications onsite.
Both Full time and part time candidates will be considered, with a full time equivalent of 40 hour working week (average) on a 1:3 rota agreed amongst the team in advance. They promote clinical progression with a generous CPD budget and are open to supporting certificates. Salary up to £70,000 (FTE) and a string of generous bonuses are included in this great role.
