Area you an organised and skilled hospital manager who’d jump at the chance to play a pivotal role in a state of the art 24 hour East London veterinary hospital?

Our fantastic client is looking for a hospital manager to lead the large clinical and administrative team.
This is a full time Monday to Friday role with occasional on call requirements at the weekends to assist in urgent management phone queries. You will not be asked to attend the hospital on these rare occasions.
The salary is up to £60,000. The role also comes with a fantastic benefits package including; 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays, private medical Insurance- 24-hour employee assistance programme, medical cashback plan and professional membership fees covered.
The right candidate will work closely with an amazing head vet who has been at this hospital for over 10 years, as well as a passionate deputy hospital manager, head and deputy nurses, and integral hospital administrators.
This role will require leadership expertise, enthusiasm for the veterinary industry and excellent communication skills, to be able to navigate the ever changing and complex world of veterinary management, within a large hospital setting.
Ideally the right candidate will have prior experience in a health care management setting, managing large multidisciplinary teams. Prior experience in a veterinary practice is preferable.
Responsibilities for this rare opportunity will include maintaining an atmosphere of team collaboration and mutual respect, playing a key role in the operational and financial success of the hospital, overseeing the general practice management including stock control, rotas, holiday and absence management, overseeing the reception team to ensure the hospital is providing exceptional client service as well as debt management, and complaint management, support in recruitment for hospital positions, and liaising with HR where applicable.
